Village Organizations Urge Residents to Always Carry Their IDs

Century Village East’s two main governing organizations, CenClub and CVE Master Management, are urging residents to carry their Village ID cards at all times, emphasizing the importance of having proper identification for access to facilities, events, and security purposes.
CenClub has reminded residents that failing to produce a Village ID could result in the suspension of access to recreational activities and facilities, such as pools, fitness centers, and Clubhouse events. Additionally, CenClub clarified that a photo of your ID saved on your phone is not an acceptable substitute. In an emergency, according to CenClub, staff cannot access your phone to confirm your identity or contact your emergency contacts.
CVE Master Management echoed the importance of always carrying an ID, particularly when entering through the Village gates. Residents without a proper ID risk being denied entry, even if they are recognized by staff. Furthermore, Master Management stressed that for those taking Village buses outside the community, having your ID is mandatory. Residents who cannot present their ID upon returning will not be allowed to board the bus back to the Village.
Both organizations emphasize that carrying your Village ID is a simple step that ensures a smooth experience, maintains security, and supports emergency response efforts. Residents are encouraged to treat their ID as an essential item whenever they leave their homes.
