CVE Art Club Thrives with Exciting Events and Annual Art Expo
The Art Club of CVE has had a fantastic season of creativity and inspiration! December meetings featured the talents of Cookie Hilert, photographer, and Marilu Tejero, clay artist. In January, members were treated to presentations by Mimi Wohlberg, a collage and mixed media artist, and guest artist Jan Guarino, who demonstrated her incredible watercolor techniques.
Looking ahead, February meetings will be held on Friday mornings, February 7th and 21st, from 10 AM to 12 PM in Room GPA at the Clubhouse. Members and guests are warmly invited to engage with the vibrant artistic community.
The Art Club’s Gallery is showcasing Micheline Cusson as February’s featured artist, with Monica Hellberg and Barbara Gerson headlining in March. Special thanks to Seema Goldstein and Stella Castro for curating a beautiful January exhibit.
The highlight of the season will be the Annual Art Expo, taking place on Saturday, March 1st (10 AM – 6 PM) and Sunday, March 2nd (10 AM – 4 PM) in the Clubhouse Party Room. This free event will feature works from guest clubs, including the Photography Club, Lapidary Club, Quilting Club, Lighthouse Glass Club, and Woodcraft and DIY Club.
