Annual Cancer Benefit Next Month

On Thursday, January 30, 2025, we are holding our 10th annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in the Clubhouse Party Room.  Last year, we raised over $10,000.  We were thankful to the MedFlorida Clinic and Aetna for their donation of $1,000.  We also received a donation of $1,000 from a resident who is now deceased from this terrible disease.

We will provide over three hours of continuous ballroom and line dancing.  Music will be provided by Les Complices (Ginette Lauzon and Laurent Labrecque.)  When they take a break, Dj Raymond Labrecque and Rejeanne Thiffault will provide music for the large crowd of line dancers.  Liliane Fontaine will lead the line dancing.  

During the intermission, the talented and charming Katia Shore will perform an amazing belly dance.  

Last year, Pina Ronca donated over 22 raffle baskets and also set up the 50/50 game of chance bringing in over $1,000.  We look forward to another successful event.  Pina also sold her famous home-made cookies and Fred provided the coffee and tea.  This year, coffee, tea, cake, and cookies will again be provided for the attendees.

Tickets for this event will be on sale in December.  Tickets will be $20, the same price as last year.  If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate your contribution.  Checks should be made out to the "American Cancer Society."

The color scheme for this event is purple and pink.  Please bring extra money for the raffle baskets and 50/50.
